Design Team Layouts With Imaginisce

If you've done any traveling this summer, a few of your layouts deserve these great Imaginisce papers - classic colors and beautiful glossy accents will add a special touch to your vacation photos!
All the patterned papers are from Imaginisce's new line, Bon Voyage.   When I saw these little airplanes, I knew just which photos I would use.  We just returned from a family trip to Wisconsin and our daughter had such a great time "flying in the clouds."  I wasn't especially thrilled with my photos from inside the plane, so I turned them black and white and touched them up a bit in PhotoShop and then printed the three of them out in a strip.  Even though they aren't great, I think it still shows the feelings of fascination in Hannah's face as she looks out the window of the plane.  The tags are cut from one of the paper sheets and the fun font was cut with my Cricut and the Printing Press cartridge.

The second layout features a glossy compass motif in that gorgeous dark blue background.  The cute stamps are found in abundance on another sheet and make a nice little banner when sewn together with some floss.  I also used the little coordinating stamp from Imaginisce.  Don't you wish stamps were still 10 cents?  On this layout I used more of the tags as layers and journaling spots.  My title can be found in the Gypsy Wanderings Cricut cartridge.

I hope you travel over to Scrapdoodles this week and pick up some of this line for your vacation photos before it's gone.  Ask the girls to show you all the new lines by Imaginisce - super cute fall and Christmas lines are out on the floor!

Happy Scrappin!  Karen

New from Imaginisce

Check out these FOUR new cute lines from Imaginisce. I'm going to start with my personal favorite--there are so many great back-to-school lines this year, and I think Geek is Chic is a standout.

Bon Voyage may inspire you to plan a trip just so you can use this amazing travel collection.

The whimsical style of Happy Harvest is sure to steal your heart, especially those cheeky woodland creatures.

And last but certainly not least, Santa will be here before you know it. Stock up on Santa's Little Helper to document the sweet memories of Christmas.

But wait! That's not all! We've also got the new lighted tweezers for use with your iRock or any other tiny things that could use a little illumination, as well as the Little Snips.

Autumn Splendor from WRMK

This new collection from We R Memory Keepers is as warm and rich as a pumpkin pie, and the textures are great. This is just a taste of the items available...come by the store and see the whole line.

Fall Inspired Cards

Hi There!

Hope you are having a great Wednesday! The weather around here has been great, hasn't it- minus the ground rumbling of course! LOL!

I've got some fun cards to show you today using the new Amy Tangerine line by American Crafts. I found in the store during the crop last Saturday and had to have it- hee! Here is what I made:

Goodies:

Amy Tangerine patterned papers, acrylic stamps, remark sticker book, fabric paper; October Afternoon letter stickers; Stampin' Up leaf stamps, ink; Versamark; Hemp Twine: Sanding Block; Feathers

I was inspired by the colors in the Amy Tangerine line. They are funky and very on trend for fall this year. I love that! I added some fall elements like feathers and leaves to the design as well. The fabric paper was also fun to play with- I tore it into strips because I love the raw, frayed edges. I think I might try die-cutting it next!

The Amy Tangerine line is just one of many new lines we've received in the last few weeks! There is lots to look at so pop on by the store today to see what other great things we have!

Have a great day!

Design Team Wednesday

Happy Wednesday blogworld!  Nikki here, and it is my turn to share some projects with you.  Sometimes less is more, and in the card making world, we call that clean and simple, or CAS for short.  Today my cards are just that!

My first card features an adorable stamp set from Unity.  I masked the little birdies before I stamped the sentiment to make it appear as if they were "in the words".   They are actually two separate stamps.  I added some extra color to the velvet flower by coloring the edges using two of the same Copics I colored the bird image with.  It was already yellow, but I wanted it to pick up a little of the darker yellows in the birdie.
Ingredients: Stamps: Unity(Happy Chick Birthday); Copics: BV01, R83, YG25, Y02, Y18, YR12; YR82; Cardstock: White, Black; Designer Papers: Little Yellow Bicycle (Tiny Princess collection); Accessories: Maya Road (Velvet Stitched Blossoms), Dies (Scallop Circle, Circle), Scallop Edge Punch.

My next two projects feature the super cute Blast Off collection from BoBunny, and I didn't stamp a thing on them!  First up is a simple pop-up card (tutorial on my blog).  The image on the front is actually two stickers that I stacked.  The bottom layer is a cardstock sticker from the collection, and there was a rocket image on it already, but it was a different one.  I applied the dimensional one on top of the original for some pop!

Ingredients: Cardstock: Bazzill Basics (White, Red); Designer Papers: BoBunny (Blast Off); Stickers: BoBunny (Blast Off Dimensionals, Blast Off Cardstock)

My last project is a tag to go with the 'You Rocket' card, and features the same ingredients.  I made the grass with a Martha Stewart Punch and some scrap green patterned paper from my stash.
Have a great day!!
