Hi! Hope all of you were able to enjoy the three day weekend! We had a lot of fun, even when it rained!

I wanted to post some pictures of the cards we will be making in the next Card Creations class on June 13th! Here they are...

This one uses a cute new stamp by Imaginisce and Copic Markers! I'll also show you how to dry emboss with the new QuicKutz folders:

This one features a cool faux suede technique and new stamps by American Crafts:

This one uses Basic Grey stamps to create our own background paper and do a super saturated watercolor technique:

This last one is a patriotic one! I'll show you how to make this cool quilted background:

Hope to see you all on June 13th! The card class starts at 1:30pm and runs until around 3:30pm. It costs $16.00. If you'd like more information or to sign up, please call the store at (540) 548-3788. There is also a crop at 5:00pm so come and stay all night!

Inspired 2009 Photos!

Have you picked yours yet?

I had a hard time picking between the newly released QuicKutz Spring gift sets... it was between Relax and Flirt. I went with Flirt since I have two girls and I loved the font! Luckily my friend Kristen got Relax so we've been sharing... Here are a couple of things I made recently:

A page using Flirt:

Don't you just love the little strawberries:

Paper: Bo Bunny, Bazzill Basics
Letter Stickers: American Crafts, Making Memories, Basic Gray
Ribon: American Crafts
Crepe Paper Strips: Amy Butler
Diecuts: QuicKutz Flirt
A few other little goodies I'm afraid are a mish mash of stuff in my stash... brads, jewels, halfback pearls...

I haven't scrapped a page since November! I'm feeling a little rusty- it took me so long to decide what went where and if I was done... I did better with the card- it was done in no time!

Here is the card I made using Relax:

Paper: Pink Paislee, Bazzill Basics
Letter Stickers: Making Memories
Diecuts: Quickutz Relax
Edge Punch: Fiskars

So far, I am loving my new QuicKutz! Another friend bought the Reuse giftset and I can't wait to play with that, too! I have so many ideas brewing for those little trees... Now if only someone I knew would buy the Enjoy one! Hee!

We just got another shipment of these cute gift sets in the other day so pop on by and pick one up!

National Scrapbook Day Recap!

It was an amazing day! I don't think I have ever seen so many people packed into the store. I was afraid the Fire Marshall was going to call a halt to our festivities!! lol - The customers just kept coming in! We had make and takes all day long, we gave goody bags away to the first 25 customers, a crop in the classrooms and then capped it off with the American Crafts $500 Gift Basket at 7pm well actually 7:10pm. We had a lot of people in line trying to earn those last few tickets! The first ticket drawn went unclaimed! So we drew another...the winner...Michelle Jennings!!! Congratulations!!! Thank you for an amazing day!

Check out all these tickets! We had to move them to a larger box to make sure we were able to shake them up enough!
