Have you started thinking about Christmas presents yet? Well, if you haven't... I'm here to help. With a few supplies and a little time, you are on the way to some fabulous gifts. Here are two I've made recently. Each is mounted on an 8x8 canvas panel and features the TENSeconds Studio Christmas mold.

The first called Home for the Holidays, uses the snowflake pattern embossed onto a piece of periwinkle metal. I adhered it to the canvas and added some strips of the Tim Holtz tissue tape to the bottom of the canvas. Then I painted the whole thing white and buffed off some of the paint to give it an antiqued look. I used some cotton snow to soften the line, added the house and its done.

Poinsettia, the second project features the flower from the same mold, this time embossed on a piece of silver aluminum. The color has been added using Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam (love that stuff) and accented with some bling. I added some more metal and mounted it onto the canvas and you have another quick and very cool gift.

I hope this inspires you to get started metalizing the world, one project(or gift) at a time.
