Design Team Introduction: Cyndi Michener

Hi, Scrapdoodles fans! I live in Charlottesville with my college professor husband Ron and my two children, Thomas (14) and Annamarie (12). I started scrapping in 1997, and taught classes at our local scrapbook store (RIP) for a couple of years. After mostly being a stay-at-home mom since we adopted the kids from Bulgaria, I am back in school studying accounting and hoping to sit for the CPA exam in the next couple of years. When I'm not scrapping, I love to travel, dabble in photography, go to concerts, and read. I am thrilled to be a part of the Scrapdoodles team...I have visited many scrapbook stores in my travels, and I don't think I've ever found a better one.

I used a Maya Road chipboard banner for this project. The flowers on the banner are Maya Road's canvas flowers that I sprayed with Maya Mist, and the scalloped edges and chipboard letters are painted with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam (love this stuff!). The pins behind the flowers are from Jillibean Soup.

This layout is a mix of new stuff and old favorites from my stash, featuring the fabulous new Lost & Found line from My Mind's Eye.

I created this little album using one of Pink Paislee's canvas binders. The title was created by laying a word from a Maya Road keychain album on the cover and spraying Glimmer Mist over it. All of the chipboard embellishments are also from Maya Road keychain albums, and the papers and stickers are all October Afternoon.
