Inspired! Messenger Bag

One of the things we look forward to every year is the tote bag that Donna Downey hands out every year with our registration packet. This year we were thrilled to receive her Messenger Bag. It was a blank slate that we got to create our own signature design and carry with us as we went from class to class.  Kris from Silhouette was there with Amy Kinnon demonstrating the Silhouette. As the event went on we were able to do three separate make and takes using the heat transfer in smooth & flocked & the rhinestones.
I took mine home and finished it this afternoon. One thing to keep in mind is that you can glimmer mist over the heat transfer in smooth and the rhinstones but not the flocked. So...I misted my tote with Tattered Angels Patina, Coral Reef (my current favorite pinkish orange) & Sunshine, added the trim we found on our way home from Inspired at a Fabric Outlet we saw advertised on the freeway (hee!) and lots of my favorite Prima Flowers! I adhered the flowers using Helmar Adhesive (soon to be arriving at Scrapdoodles!) and then decided that one butterfly was not enough and cut two more out in smaller sizes. It was a bit tricky ironing them on with all the flowers and trim in place but I managed! :) Enjoy!
