Simply the Best! $40
4" Scalloped Mini Album: class time 3 hours
Saturday, June 20 ~ 9:30am-12:30pm

"Simply The Best. . ." - How would you finish that statement? Would your thoughts wander to your favorite desert? Your favorite music? Maybe your best vacation ever? Gather your photos and ideas and join me as we create a 4" Scalloped Mini Album using all of the latest and greatest Jenni Bowlin Studio products! You will learn new techniques (such as working with crepe paper and German Glass Glitter and altering pre-fab products). Best yet, you will have enough materials left over to make a layout or two later! Everything is provided. Just bring your basic tool box (trimmer, scissors, craft knife and mat, decorative scissors ((mini pinking shears in particular)) and various glues including a dry tape runner, glue dots and liquid glue or Glossy Accents.

Need some help on developing your theme? - keep it very generic, such as "simply the best. . . coffee (Starbucks)", "simply the best. . . music (Coldplay)", "simply the best. . . smile (my baby boy)", etc. Or go for a specific event or place. For example, my book is themed around our love of Disney World and each page represents "simply the best. . .ride, villain, princess, place to eat, show, park, etc.". The album is 4" x 4" so don't print out photos any larger then that (and you will want some much smaller). Here's the good news though. . . you don't have to have your photos to take the class (or even have decided on a theme)! The project is done in a way that makes it easy to add photos and journaling later.

Pom-Pom 101 $36
Class Time - 2 hours
Saturday, June 20 ~ 1:30pm-3:30 pm

Like many teenage girls, I spent much of my high school career performing at half-time shows and competitions with the dance squad. One of the requirements before each competition was to make a fresh set of pom-poms (red and white)! I still remember my mom and I sitting down to do this with fresh crepe paper. Although I didn't have the whole "pom-pom" idea in mind when I first created the crepe paper ribbon for JBS, I think it was only a matter of time before my mind wandered back to high school and the light bulb went off in my head - why not make tiny little pom-poms with the yards of crepe paper ribbon laying on my desk? And so this class was born. You too will learn the intricate art of pom-pom making (just kidding- it's super simple and lots of fun) as we create 3 chipboard based dangles just waiting to adorn doorknobs, chandeliers, or drawer pulls around your home. You will complete 3 dangles in class but will have enough materials left over to create more!

Please bring your basic tools to class, including a craft knife and mat, liquid and dry adhesives (including Glossy Accents and Zip Dry Glue if you have it), 2 pairs of jewelry pliers to open jump rings and wire cutters (I will have some on hand to share). Also bring 26gauge silver jewelry wire if possible (again, I will have some to share). Bring a few photos if desired, sized around 2" (with a little cropping room).
