My kids keep a set of colored pencils and a composition book in the seat pocket of each car so they have things to do no matter which car we're in. They can write, draw, play tic-tac-toe or other games, practice math skills, etc. They love it when I cover these books to make them special. You can use them for summer vacation journaling, diaries, boredom busters, school supplies, teacher gifts, you name it! My husband likes the books with the grid pages but didn't want to take one into meetings so I made one for him, too! Your kids will have a blast making and decorating them!
Join us Friday morning, July 19th at 10:30am for the 2 Cool 4 School journal class. I'll teach you and your child how to create a basic book like these and I'll have other examples and ideas on hand as well. The cost is $13. Please bring strong double sided tape (such as Scor Tape, X-Press It tape or Red Line tape) and a bone folder if you have them. Please let the staff know which book your child would like to create, stars or butterflies, when you sign up.
