Introducing a new class series...

Today I wanted to talk about a new class series we will be offering at Scrapdoodles over the next few months. I've been wanting to add some classes to help people discover and develop their own personal style so we thought up the Find Your Style series just for that!

Each month one of our great teachers will showcase a particular scrapbooking style based on fashion trends. Since the scrapbook industry takes its cues from the fashion world we thought it would be a fun way to incorporate even more of yourself into your artwork. We will teach you all about the trends, the top designers to watch, places to go for inspiration, great products to use, and fun techniques to try based on the style. All of course while making two 12X12 layouts! Fun, right?

So, for our first class, Andrea will be teaching Find Your Style: Modern Art Chic Edition! Andrea's work already fits in with this style. She loves trendy color combos and fun, messy techniques. She, like other scrapbookers who love this style, think of their pages as a blank canvas of sorts….ready to be turned into a modern work of art!

rub on applicator (if you have it)

white gel pen

For those of you who feel like you haven't quite found your own style, this series will be a great way to 'try them on' so to speak... see how they fit! And, if you already know your style, this could be a great way to learn some techniques that you might not otherwise try.
